Excursions Calendar Breathe Liguria

The Alta Via dei Monti Liguri (High Route of the Ligurian Mountains) is a much talked about and much loved by the majority of trekking enthusiasts. It is an impassable and difficult route. It is unwelcoming but incredibly beautiful. Starting from Monterosso you can reach Vernazza

Monterosso and Vernazza have become world famous for their beauty, attracting crowds of tourists every day. With our trek we will explore a point of view that is more difficult than the traditional route, but also less frequented, with the possibility of seeing the two villages from two different points of view and being amazed by the marvellous view.

We will meet in front of Monterosso station from where we will set off towards the Sanctuary of Soviore along the ancient mule track. A marvellous view of the infinity of the sea will open up before us.

We will continue our steep ascent until we reach the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri and, passing the summit of Monte Soviore at 619m, we will continue our route, beginning to see the typical Mediterranean scrub, which also includes holm oak and chestnut groves.

We will then reach the Sanctuary of Regio, passing the wonderful view of Vernazza from above we will start to descend along the historical mule track and reach the centre of Vernazza.

Graduated in Cultural Heritage from the Catholic University of Milan.

The tour is open to adults and young people over the age of 18.
Children must be accompanied by their parents

There is an extra charge of €5 for the English language tour.

The participant may cancel the tour with 24 hours notice if he/she does not wish to participate without forfeiting the participation fee. After 24 hours there will be no refund.

The tour may be cancelled by the guide with 24 hours notice (due to weather conditions)

The whole experience takes place from Monterosso to Vernazza. The starting point is in front of the Monterosso railway station in Via Fegina 19016 Monterosso al Mare SP.
